Detailed Comparison Chart

Here is a more detailed and in-depth look at the best web hosting companies that I would recommend to beginners in web development. These companies are chosen by me personally as I have used them before or more to the point, I am still using them to host a number of my websites. I stay with them because I haven't had any big problems with them and whenever I have had the need to contact their customer services, they have been very helpful.

Again, I must stress that it doesn't really matter where your website is geographically located in this world. I find that the best web servers are in the US and Canada. There are a few in the UK but prices are a little higher and you get pretty much the same or less than what you would get in the US in terms of technology. This website (ukhostingweb.com) is hosted in the US, so if you think this website performs well, then you should do the same.

More information and my comments Easiest to use if you're a beginner and want a no fuss, reliable hosting and great customer service. Also green webhosting, a one of a kind in this industry. Hosts millions of domains and 20,000 new sign ups per month. A little more expensive but a good sturdy service. Hosts over 1 million websites and based in US Utah. Great choice for beginners who want to choose a hosting company that many other use. Really good hosting provider. Great if you have done a bit of hosting before as they target larger customers so not as easy to use but top service. One of the most popular hosting providers with a good track record. A lot more options available for more advanced users.
